Meadpoint was established in Singapore by Lawrence D. Sperling in 2009.

Mr. Sperling has completed over US$8 billion of real estate-related investments and loans in the Asia Pacific region and over US$15 billion in the United States.

Prior to establishing Meadpoint, Mr. Sperling was a Managing Director at Credit Suisse in New York and Tokyo.

During his tenure at Credit Suisse Mr. Sperling held a number of positions including Head of the Asia Real Estate Finance Group based in Tokyo, Head of CMBS Trading based in New York, and Managing Partner of Madison Square LLC, a private investment company with over US$1.75 billion in assets.

Mr. Sperling was previously a member of the Board of Directors and Investment Committee for the manager of United Urban Investment Corporation (“United Urban”), a REIT listed on the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

Prior to joining Credit Suisse, Mr. Sperling was a Vice President of Eastdil Realty, Inc. (“Eastdil”). Nomura Securities Co., Ltd. owned approximately 50% of Eastdil during the time Mr. Sperling was employed there.

Mr. Sperling received Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a Bachelor of Arts degree with Distinction from the University of Virginia.
