Founder

Meadpoint was established in Singapore by Lawrence D. Sperling in 2009.

Mr. Sperling has executed over US$8 billion of real estate-related investments and loans in the Asia Pacific region and over US$15 billion in the United States.

Prior to establishing Meadpoint, Mr. Sperling was a Managing Director at Credit Suisse in New York and Tokyo.

During his tenure at Credit Suisse Mr. Sperling held several senior leadership positions including Head of the Asia Real Estate Finance Group based in Tokyo, Head of CMBS Trading based in New York, and Managing Partner of Madison Square LLC, a private investment company with over US$1.75 billion in assets.

Mr. Sperling previously served on the Board of Directors and Investment Committee for the manager of United Urban Investment Corporation (“United Urban”), a REIT listed on the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange (TSE: 8960). He currently serves as the Lead Independent Director of KORE US REIT (Keppel Office Real Estate US REIT, SGX: CMOU).

Prior to joining Credit Suisse, Mr. Sperling served as a Vice President of Eastdil Realty, Inc. (“Eastdil”), which during his tenure was approximately 50% owned by Nomura Securities.

Mr. Sperling earned J.D. and M.B.A. degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a B.A. with Distinction from the University of Virginia.
